WALL WORDS

Application & Removal Instructions

Pleasantville Signs cannot be held responsible for damage to any paint surface. We speak from experience, but cannot ensure that all experiences will be the same, as all surfaces are different. We hope you enjoy 'Wall Words'.

Step 1

Clean the surface. For newly painted, allow 2 weeks before applying vinyl. Using painter's tape, secure the top of the decal to the wall, measuring if the decal is meant to be straight. Measure the bottom of the letters and not the paper they are on.

Step 2

Using scissors, cut sections of your decal for easier application. Cut to the tape, but NOT PAST the tape. |The tape will act as a hinge.

Step 3

Peel off the backing paper to exppose the adhesive side of the vinyl.

Step 4

Step 5

Holding the section taut at the center bottom, rub the section from top to bottom with a credit card or squeegee. Start at the centre top to bottom and then out to each side.

Step 6

Repeat the steps for each section of the decal until all sections are applied to the surface.

Step 7

Peel off the application tape, or pre-mask, to expose the vinyl underneath. As you do this, peel back, not up, making sure each letter has stuck. Do this step slowly.

Step 8

Step 9

Your decal is ready to enjoy.

FOR REMOVAL: Soften the vinyl with a hair dryer and slowly peel off the vinyl. Make sure no paint is coming off with the vinyl. This step should also be done slowly. Some adhesive can be left behind. This can be cleaned away using alcohol or 'Goo Gone".
